Laysan Albatross Thrive at Turtle Bay

Since establishing their partnership in 2015, Turtle Bay Foundation has supported the work of North Shore Community Land Trust to restore 35 acres of coastal land within 630 acres of preserved open space along the shoreline surrounding Kahuku Point, a site now home to new Laysan albatross hatchlings.

“It’s been a really great partnership with Kupu and the Turtle Bay Foundation. We get support from them to do the work we do out here. We look forward to continuing to do it for many years to come and restoring this very special place to its pristine condition one day.”

– Adam Borrello, Executive Director for the North Shore Community Land Trust
